Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan national football team won a training match over Palestine before the start of the Asian Cup.

The match, which took place on 7 January in Qatar, ended with a score of 1:0. The only goal was scored by striker Bobur Abdukhalikov.

The Asian Cup will be held from 12 January to 10 February 2024. 24 teams will take part in the tournament.

The Uzbekistan national team in Group B will play matches against teams from Syria, India and Australia.

Group stage matches:

Uzbekistan - Syria, on 13 January at 22:30;
India - Uzbekistan, on 18 January at 19:30;
Australia - Uzbekistan, on 23 January at 16:30.
