In line with ranking, Uzbekistan national team moved 31st places up compared to previous ranking in January 2011. Uzbekistan occupied 108th place in January ranking.

Uzbekistan holds the sixth place among the Asian countries after Japan (17th place), Australia (21), South Korea (32), Iran (44) and China (75 place).

Among the CIS countries, Uzbekistan is on the seventh place among the CIS states after Russia (12), Ukraine (34), Belarus (36), Armenia (62), Georgia (71) and Latvia (76).

Uzbekistan participated in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 in January and claimed the fourth place.
