Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Uzbekistan has won the "Tourism in the CIS" category at the National Tourism Awards, Russian Traveler Awards 2024, organized by the Russian magazine Russian Traveler.  

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Jamshid Abdusalomov, attended the award ceremony.  

This achievement follows the publication of a special July edition of the magazine dedicated to Uzbekistan's tourism potential, titled "Uzbekistan - An Eastern Tale", which garnered significant interest among Russian readers.
