Uzbekistan last week clinched a 4-1 victory over China in Asia/Ocenia Group I of Davis Cup and advanced to next stage.

In the result Uzbekistan has collected 2,000 points and clinched 19th place in the world. Uzbekistan is fourth among Asian and Oceania states after Kazakhstan (7th place), Australia (17) and Japan (18).

Uzbekistan is the second best team in the CIS area after Kazakhstan. Russia dropped nine positions in ranking and now holds 26th place.
