Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan led by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov to the city of Bishkek on 26 October, a meeting was held at the Ala-Archa state residence with the Prime Minister of Mongolia Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene.

At the meeting, it was noted that bilateral relations between our countries are developing; the meeting of Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, held last year in Samarkand, is of particular importance.

An exchange of views took place on the implementation of future tasks that should be implemented to ensure the implementation of the agreements reached at a high level.

As already mentioned, the volume of mutual trade does not correspond to the potential of the countries. There is every opportunity to increase its volume several times in the coming years.

The Uzbek side drew attention to the importance of accelerating the process of signing a program for the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

It is also proposed to hold the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission and the Uzbek-Mongolian business forum in Tashkent.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on important issues of developing cooperation in the fields of agriculture, industrial cooperation, trade, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian, tourism, and ecology.
