Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A number of Uzbekistan’s enterprises took part in the exhibition and conference “Development of E-Commerce”, organized by the Malaysia’s Cloud Union in one of the largest trade and exhibition centers of the capital of the country, Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, Cloud Union is engaged in developing special electronic platforms for development of e-commerce in Southeast Asia and today the online platform of seller companies developed by the company has more than 10 million subscribers.

More than 200 companies interested in selling their products through appropriate electronic trading platforms took part in these events, and the number of visitors amounted to about 15,000, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Malaysian public was particularly interested in high taste qualities of fruits and honey from Uzbekistan. In addition, those who attended this event expressed great interest in organizing business and tourist trips to the country in order to become familiar with cultural and historical heritage and explore the possibility of establishing trade-economic cooperation.
