Uzbekistan launches new gas fuelling stations
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan launched 13 automobile gas fuelling compressor stations (AGFCS) and 36 automobile gas fuelling stations (AGFS) in January-June 2010.

Samarkand, Bukhara and Kashkadarya regions were leaders on launch of new stations. Twenty two of 36 stations were built in the reporting period.

Uzbek State Oil and Gas Inspection said that 4,702 vehicles were re-equipped to use of liquefied gas, of which 3,977 cars belonged to individuals, in the first half of 2010. In the reporting period, 9,521 automobiles were re-equipped to consume compressed stations, of which 8,405 were owned by individuals.

Overall, number of automobiles re-equipped to compressed gas in Uzbekistan made up 58,730 and liquefied gas – 51,611 from 2007 to 1 July 2010.
