The meeting was held with participation of Korean delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Public Administration and Security of South Korea Pil-Eon Seo.

The visit of the Korean delegation to Uzbekistan is practical implementation of agreements, reached during the state visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to South Korea in September 2012.

It is worth to mention that at the support of two leaders, Uzbekistan and South Korea are developing relations in all spheres of economy, including information technologies.

Studying and analyzing of current telecommunication infrastructure and stage-by-stage introduction of information technologies, as well as state information resources and systems in Uzbekistan is evidence for development of relations.

It was noted that the sides are working on introduction of e-government, introduction of ICT in all spheres of economy. South Korea is one of leading countries in IT sector and the sides determined priority directions of cooperation.
