Uzbekistan keeps 58th place at FIFA ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams on 4 July 2013.
According to the FIFA, Uzbekistan kept the 58th place in new ranking of national teams.
Uzbekistan holds the fifth place among the Asian Football Confederation and the third place among the CIS states.
Uzbekistan is behind Japan (37th place), Australia (40) and South Korea (43) in Asia and Russia (17) and Ukraine (28) in the CIS.
Spain topped the FIFA ranking. Germany is on the second place and Columbia holds the third place.
