Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan are interested in settlement of situation in Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan expressed interest in fast settlement of situation in Afghanistan, a joint statement of the president of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan said.

The document said that the sides positively rate contribution of two states in rehabilitation of economy of Afghanistan.

They noted about importance of initiatives of two states directed at fast settlement of conflict and social-economic rehabilitation of Afghanistan, the statement said.
