Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A roundtable was held in Samarkand with representatives from the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
The event took place as part of the Central Asian Microfinance Summit 2024, themed "Unlimited Support for Small Business: Returning to the Essence."
During the roundtable, participants discussed existing regulations governing the activities of microfinance organizations, as well as ways to improve them.
Additionally, the role of credit products and services offered by microfinance organizations in supporting small businesses and startups was addressed, along with issues related to digital technologies, cybersecurity, and financial accessibility.
As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached for mutual exchange of experience in these areas.
