Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Tashkent Grand Slam in judo, organized in the Yunusabad sports complex in the capital, has come to an end. In competitions among martial artists from 49 countries of the world, the national team of Uzbekistan took second place in the team standings after Japan.
At the competitions, the Uzbek athletes won 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals. In uncompromising and exciting fights, the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was played in honor of Murodjon Yuldoshev (-73 kg), Davlat Bobonov (-90 kg) and Alisher Yusupov (+100 kg).
It is worth noting that this is a new record for the national team of our country in terms of the number of medals at Grand Slam tournaments!
