Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Director of the Agency for Innovative Development Olimjon Toychiev met with the Ambassador of Israel to Uzbekistan Zehavit Ben-Hillel and representatives of the Netafim.

Issues of developing mutual cooperation, implementation of innovative projects and technology transfer were discussed at the meeting.

The director of the Agency for Innovative Development discussed with representatives of the Israeli company Netafim the introduction of innovations and technologies aimed at saving water resources in Uzbekistan.

Netafim representatives stressed that 70% of water can be saved by recycling the water used in everyday consumption and using it in the agricultural sector using the technologies they offer.

The issues of eliminating problems arising from the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture, training qualified specialists and organizing seminars and trainings for industry representatives were also considered.

Israeli specialists also plan to organize seminars and trainings for Uzbek startups.
