Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 to 5 April 2019, Tashkent hosted training workshops for specialists in the public education system on the benefits of introducing electronic journals and diaries Kundalik.
The event was supported by the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Managers and Specialists of the Public Education System. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of National Education.
As part of the curriculum, teachers mastered the rules for completing an e-journal, homework assignment and grading, learned how to conduct lesson planning and publish announcements, figured out system administration and other features.
After training, teachers will try out Kundalik work in practice and give feedback to platform developers. Teachers’ wishes will be taken into account when implementing the system in other schools of Uzbekistan from the next academic year.
In October 2018 it was reported that the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Kundalik will launch a project on the introduction of electronic journals and diaries in secondary schools. The initiative of the company was approved by the Ministry of Public Education based on the results of the selection of proposals for the informatization of the industry and is implemented within the framework of a public-private partnership between the department and Kundalik, which will bear all costs of implementing, maintaining and developing the system.
The system allows online scheduling of lessons, formulating lesson plans for teachers, keep records of attendance and student achievement in electronic forms of the journal and diary, and also provides educational organizations and education authorities with tools for generating statistical reporting.
For students and their parents, Kundalik offers round-the-clock access to grades and homework, a protected social network for effective communication, and access to additional educational resources.
Yuriy Boyko, a representative of the system developer, said: “At present, we are implementing a project in Uzbekistan to introduce the Kundalik digital educational platform, which is a school electronic journal and diary. To work with the system is enough computer with Internet access. Moreover, teachers can use the version of the system adapted for mobile gadgets”.
