Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the relevant decree of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Poland, from 21 February this year, two-way traffic (entry-exit) of all freight vehicles (with the exception of trucks registered in EU member countries period and the European Free Trade Association) is temporarily restricted for an indefinite through the Belarusian border at the last open point Kukuryki-Kozlovichi. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

As a result of this situation, there is now a congestion of trucks from foreign countries at this border checkpoint.

In this regard, the Uzbek Transport Ministry asked national carriers to take this situation into account when carrying out cargo transportation to European countries.

Negotiations are currently underway to ensure the unimpeded passage of trucks of Uzbek national carriers through the border checkpoints of Lithuania.
