Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is interested in green energy projects with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries. This was stated on Friday by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov at an expanded meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan.

According to him, Uzbekistan has set itself specific tasks to accelerate the transition to a "green economy".

Also, the EAEU countries were invited to jointly finance food projects, the Sputnik agency reports.

The importance of ensuring free movement and mutual deliveries of agricultural products and food products "without the use of trade policy measures" was also noted.

This, according to Tashkent, will be able to contain price fluctuations and inflationary pressures.
