Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Citizens of Uzbekistan have once again taken the lead in the Green Card lottery results, as reported on the official lottery website.

According to the published data, out of 55,000 Green Cards issued, 5,564 were obtained by citizens of Uzbekistan.

Algeria ranked second with 5,526 cards, followed by Russia (5,519), Egypt (5,515), and Sudan (5,505).

The Green Card program offers foreign nationals a unique opportunity to obtain identification that confirms their right to work in the United States.
