Uzbekistan introduces new order on realization of imported goods
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a new order in line with which the imported consumer goods should be realized within a year from the date of the customs registration from 1 July 2010.

The presidential resolution said from 1 July 2010 it is forbidden to realize imported consumer goods after 12 months from the registration date of customs declaration, which proves the fact of goods import and payment of customs payments.

The list of consumer goods includes 13 products, including ready-made garments, knitted fabrics, white goods, sport garments, hosiery, bed-clothes, tulle fabrics and products, bath towel, bed-sheets, dressing gowns, footwear, TV-sets, refrigerators, air conditioners and smoothing-irons.

The document said the realization of imported goods after 12 months from the registration date of customs declaration will be considered as violation of trade rules (realization of goods without documents) and corresponding measures will be applied in line with the legislation.
