Uzbekistan introduces "Electronic Queue" system for border crossing
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — New measures have been introduced in Uzbekistan to simplify the border crossing process for individuals.
According to a government decree, a procedure has been established for the movement of vehicles through checkpoints using the automated information system "Electronic Queue."
To set up a queue, an authorized person can use the official website of the State Customs Committee or designated waiting areas equipped with a queue management system.
If a vehicle arrives later than the time set by the system, the electronic queue is canceled.
Additionally, the decree approves the use of the Fast-track service, allowing individuals to pass through border control more quickly.
Applications for the service can be submitted in advance via the official website of the State Customs Committee, electronic payment systems, or directly upon arrival at the checkpoint.
Passenger control, along with their hand luggage and baggage, is conducted without waiting in special designated areas, except for those who do not use the Fast-track service.
The service costs 15% of the basic calculation amount on the date of application and is charged to each adult passenger.
