Uzbekistan introduces changes to the rates of fees charged for the issuance of license plates

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Internal Affairs signed an order “On introducing changes to the rates of fees charged for the issuance of state license plates and fixed registration forms, registration and re-registration of vehicles, their trailers ( semi-trailers), mandatory technical inspection, as well as examinations.

In particular, from 1 November 2023, the following fees will come into force:

for state registration license plates of vehicles - in the amount of 3.5 sizes of basic estimated value;

for SRNZ of motor vehicles, motor scooters and trailers (semi-trailers) - in the amount of 1.75 sizes of basic estimated value;

for transit license plates - in the amount of 25 percent of the basic estimated value;

for the issuance of new license plates in exchange for a pair of unusable, broken or damaged GRNZ - in the amount of 3.5 sizes of basic estimated value;

for the issuance of new state registration certificates in exchange for one unusable, broken or damaged state registration certificate - in the amount of 1.75 sizes of basic estimated value.

However:

for the issuance of a new pair of state registration certificates to replace the lost one or a pair of state registration certificates, a fee is charged in the amount of 3.5 sizes of basic estimated value;

for the issuance of new license plates of motor vehicles, motor scooters and trailers (semi-trailers) in exchange for the lost one license plate in the amount of 1.75 sizes of basic estimated value;

for the storage of the license plate for another year after the expiration of twelve months, 1-fold of basic estimated value is charged.

This order comes into force on 1 November 2023, according to the Ministry of Justice.
