Uzbekistan introduces changes to assignment and payment of pensions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Government of Uzbekistan introduced changes and amendments to the regulation on assignment and payment of state pensions and regulation on order of calculation of actual salary, used at calculation of pension, with use of individual coefficient of salary.
The document is directed at further improving order of assigning and payment of state pensions.
The document said that if insurance payments are directed to pension fund in time, period of receiving allowances at incapacity for work and work abroad will be included to work experience. The document said that person, who works at farm or breeds cattle, should pay 4.5 minimal size of salary as insurance payment to Pension Fund to include this activities to his/her work experience.
The size of the pension for person, who has not enough work experience, should not be lower than set volume by the legislation.
The document said that imprisoned pensioners will not receive pensions during their jail period and payment of pensions will resume after their release.
The document also includes other changes and amendments.
