Uzbekistan intends to introduce online loans
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan intends to introduce online loans and oblige banks to create personal cabinets for clients.

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan published a regulation “On minimum requirements for the activities of commercial banks in implementation of relationships with consumers of banking services” for discussion.

In the document, the Central Bank proposes to introduce online loans. According to the document, the online loan is a micro-loan agreement concluded using the Internet or other method permitted by law, in which the interaction of the consumer with the bank is carried out remotely and the amount of the microloan under which is provided to the consumer in a non-cash form (including the transfer of funds without opening an account).

The Central Bank also proposes to oblige the banks of the country to create a personal cabinet on their official websites.

The document said that the bank is obliged to provide the consumer with access to the customer’s personal cabinet (if such a method of interaction with the consumer is stipulated in the contract on rendering a banking service), at least the following information: individual conditions of the banking service contract, and in case of their change after the conclusion of the said contract - taking into account the changes made to the contract; the schedule of payments under a loan agreement or a microloan, and in case of its change, taking into account changes; structure and size of the current debt of the consumer.
