Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The 18th International Exhibition of Cabex-2019 cable and wire products is being held in Moscow from 19 to 21 March.
It should be noted that over the past years, Cabex has received wide recognition as one of the main events in the electrical industry. It is organized by the All-Russian Research Institute of the Cable Industry and the Electrocable Association.
This year, more than 180 companies from dozens of countries around the world participated in the exhibition. At the two pavilions, visitors are offered cables and wires, accessories for them, electrical installation products, equipment and materials for the production, installation and cable laying.
The main event of the cable industry in a solemn atmosphere was opened by Gennady Meshchanov, Chairman of the All-Russian Research Institute of the Cable Industry, President of the Association Electro Cable Izyaslav Peshkov, and General Director of the international exhibition company ITE Alexander Shtalenkov.
Our country at this event is represented by the Association of Uzeltehsanoat and its member enterprises, which, together with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia, organized a national stand. It demonstrates a wide range of cabling and wiring products produced by domestic enterprises for various industries.
Visitors to Cabex-2019 were able to visually familiarize themselves with promising technologies and trends in the development of the cable market in Uzbekistan, select products in accordance with their tasks, as well as ask questions and discuss terms of cooperation with representatives of the sales service and technical specialists.
According to Umid Islam, Deputy Chairman of the Association "Uzeltehsanoat", the main purpose of participation in the exhibition is to establish exports of electrical products to the Russian market.
We have carefully studied the Russian market, conducted relevant marketing research, which resulted in the conclusion that this area is promising for our products, said U.Islam. In turn, the Russian partners are interested in our products, which is optimal in terms of price-quality ratio. There were business negotiations in the B2B format, which resulted in a number of agreements on mutually beneficial terms. At the same time, we are not limited to the capital and are aimed at cooperation with the regions of Russia, seeing in them a great potential for the export of cable products made in Uzbekistan.
In addition, thanks to the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow, fruitful meetings were held with representatives of ministries and departments of the Russian Federation in charge of the trade and economic bloc, in order to exchange experience and explore the possibility of our country’s participation in tenders organized in the Russian Federation.
