The sides are planning to consider several issues, including export and import of products, creation of joint enterprises in pharmaceutical industry.

Department of Pharmaceuticals of India currently is studying problems of Indian pharmaceutical industry in exporting their products and proposals on setting up joint ventures with Uzbek firms.

The forthcoming summit will also take stock of the progress of the initiatives launched and further identify the issues, if any, with a view to strengthen the trade relations, the edition said.
