Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan has increased the limit on the cost of jewelry for import and export without a customs declaration.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree to simplify the export of jewelry.

In accordance with the document, individuals can export finished jewelry worth up to 100 million soums without filling out a passenger customs declaration. Individuals must complete a declaration if the value exceeds the specified amount.

According to the decree, the system for importing products will be simplified for jewelers who are individual entrepreneurs. They can now export products for sale abroad if they have a completed declaration, but without entering them into the unified electronic system of foreign trade operations.
