Uzbekistan increases rate of income tax for mobile operators

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan increased the rate of income tax for mobile operators.

The Government amended the "Rules for application of the corporate income tax rate by organizations providing mobile communication services (cellular companies), depending on the level of profitability."

According to the document, now with a profitability level of up to 20% inclusive, the profit tax rate for mobile operators will be 14%. Previously, the tax rate was 7.5%.
