Output of edible alcohol rose by 7.1% to 3.341 million deciliters and technical alcohol by 3.8% to 20,500 deciliters. Rectified alcohol production increased by 2.4% to 616,500 deciliters.
Uzbekistan increased production of vodka and alcoholic beverage products by 7.5% to 6.745 million deciliters and cognac by 1.2% to 19,000 deciliters, champagne by 5.3% to 66,500 deciliters and beer by 11.8% to 15,900 deciliters.
Production of grape wine in Uzbekistan fell by 6.5% to 1.463 million deciliters in the reporting period.
