Uzbekistan increases prices for fuel by 15%
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased prices for automobile fuel by 15% from 1 July 2010.

Now, a liter of Ai-80 gasoline and diesel fuel costs 1,220 soums at the petroleum stations in Uzbekistan compared to previous 1,065 soums.

The price of Ai-91 gasoline rose from 1,175 soums to 1,350 soums, while Ai-95 gasoline now costs 1,500 soums against previous 1,300 soums.

Last time, the prices for automobile fuel increased in Uzbekistan on 1 January 2010. The prices rose by 25 soums that time. The prices for automobile fuel grew due to the growth of tax rate for individuals on consumption of gasoline, diesel fuel and gas for vehicles.
