Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to July this year, Uzbekistan imported 12,600 tons of dates worth US$9 million, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The agency noted that the import volume increased by 4,900 tons compared to the same period in 2024.

Iran remains the largest supplier, exporting 9,800 tons of dates to Uzbekistan.

Other partner countries include Tunisia (810 tons), Türkiye (396 tons), Saudi Arabia (245 tons), Kazakhstan (230 tons), Azerbaijan (224 tons), and the UAE (196 tons).

Imports from other countries totaled 624 tons.
