Uzbekistan included to list of best football leagues
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan Professional Football League (PFL) was included to the list of the best football leagues, which was prepared by International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
According to the IFFHS, PFL claimed the 35th place in preliminary rating of the world football clubs with 198.5 points.
PFL was placed higher in the rating compared to some European states. For example, Ukrainian football league was 42nd in the rating, while Russian league was on the 53rd place.
In Asia, Uzbek league was on the ninth place after leagues of South Korea (12th place), Saudi Arabia (15), Iran (18), Japan (21), Kuwait (22), Malaysia, Australia (29) and the UAE (30).
Spain topped the rating, while leagues from Argentina and Brazil were second and third respectively.
