Uzbekistan again showed growth in the speed of mobile and fixed Internet, adding one position upward for mobile Internet and 2 positions upward for the speed of fixed.

Our country in the overall ranking has risen to 96th place out of 176 countries of the world on the fixed Internet at a speed of 30.5 Mbps (Download). A year ago, Uzbekistan ranked 112th in the world on fixed internet at a speed of 19.91 Mbps (Download). Thus, in 1 year, the growth of speed for the fixed Internet amounted to more than 10 Mbps. for downloading and plus 16 positions up in the rating.

In September 2018, the speed of the fixed Internet in Uzbekistan was below 9 Mbps. In September 2020, the speed exceeded 30.5 Mbps (Download). So, over the past 2 years, this is a very confident growth for our country!

In terms of the speed of mobile Internet, Uzbekistan has also significantly improved its position compared to September 2019, having risen 6 positions up from 131st to 125th position over the year. At the same time, the speed increased over the year from 10.79 Mbit / s (Download) to 13.54 Mbit / s in September 2020.
