Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-July 2023, Uzbekistan imported about 1.9 million units of all types of mobile phones worth US$130 million, the Agency on Statistics said in a statement.

Imports of mobile phones increased by 365,880 units compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

In particular, Uzbekistan imported 1.7 million mobile phones from China, 189.2 thousand from Vietnam and 14.3 thousand from India in January-July.

Some 2.4 thousand mobile devices were imported from Kazakhstan and 1.9 thousand from the UAE.
