Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan imported almost 10,500 cars in January-March 2023. This was stated by the Agency on Statistics of Uzbekistan.

According to the agency, in the first quarter of 2023, 10,489 cars worth US$283.7 million were delivered to Uzbekistan from 19 foreign countries.

The growth in car imports compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 1,981.

Countries from which Uzbekistan imported the most cars in January-March 2023:

China - 6,007 units

Korea - 3,643 units

USA - 460 units.

Japan - 81 units.

Germany - 59 units.

Austria - 14 units.

UAE - 13 units.
