Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January 2023, Uzbekistan imported 3,600 tons of tea worth US$5 million, the Statistical Agency of Uzbekistan said.

According to the agency, Uzbekistan imported tea from 20 countries. Compared to January 2022, tea imports increased by 849 tons.

Uzbekistan imported tea from China (2,762 tons), Iran (335 tons), Kenya (144 tons), India (113 tons), UAE (76 tons), Sri Lanka (54 tons) and Russia (27 tons).
