Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January, Uzbekistan imported about 1.6 thousand electric vehicles for a total of $44.3 million.

According to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan, the bulk of electric vehicles were imported from China - 1,577 cars.

The remaining electric vehicles were imported from the UAE (8 cars) and other countries (9).

It was previously reported that in January 2024, 10,237 passenger cars were imported into Uzbekistan for a total amount of $222.8 million.
