Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  From January to July 2024, Uzbekistan imported 10,542 electric vehicles worth US$156 million, according to preliminary data from the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

During this period, more than 10,470 electric vehicles were imported from China.

The remaining vehicles were imported from Hong Kong (14 units), Germany (11 units), and the UAE (10 units).

In monetary terms, the value of imports decreased from US$217.1 million to US$156 million compared to the same period last year.
