Uzbekistan implements 1,052 projects within Localization Programme
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
In nine months of 2011, Uzbekistan has implemented 1,052 projects within the programme on localization of production of ready products, spare parts and materials based on industrial cooperation for 2011-2013.
This was said at the joint statement of the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan and the State Committee of Uzbekistan on statistics.
The report said that the goods for 5.052 trillion soums were produced within these projects, which grew by 19.8% year-on-year.
The materials said that the estimated import-replacement effect made up over US$3 billion.
