Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 August  2024, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Takashi Hatori, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan.

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation and expressed gratitude to the Japanese side for its active participation in implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Takashi Hatori, in turn, noted the significant progress in the development of economic ties between the two countries and expressed readiness to continue working on expanding trade and investment cooperation.

The parties also discussed the prospects for implementing new agreements in areas such as healthcare, industrial production, including the chemical industry, and IT technologies.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in the successful continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation and emphasized the importance of intensifying regular contacts to achieve common goals.
