Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days, a delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan is on a working visit to Hungary. In Budapest, the capital of this country, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Umid Mamadaminov met with the rector of the University of Niredhaza in Hungary, George Szabo.

During the talks, the issue of establishing cooperation between educational institutions of the two countries in the direction of training highly educated personnel in the field of agriculture was discussed. It is worth emphasizing that the University of Niredhaza is one of the leading institutions of higher education in Hungary with an international reputation due to the combination of scientific research, quality education and increased attention to students.

At the meeting, the rector of the university Georgi Szabo said that there is an opportunity to train Uzbek students on the basis of a grant. The Uzbek side expressed confidence in the Hungarian education system and declared its readiness to send Uzbek youth to study in this country.

As a result of negotiations between the two parties, a memorandum of understanding was signed on attracting students to study on a grant basis at this university.

According to the memorandum, 8-10 students from Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to study at Niredhaza University on the basis of a grant in various areas of agriculture.
