Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 19 to 26 December, “Open Data Week Uzbekistan – 2023” was held in Uzbekistan.

During this week, several trainings and meetings were held. Including:

From 19 to 22 December, a training was organized on the topic “Achievements, problems and long-term plans of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of open data” for more than 200 managers and employees responsible for ensuring openness in 153 government agencies and organizations.

These trainings were organized by the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, the Technology Park of Software Products and Information Technologies (IT-PARK) and the Anti-Corruption Agency.

On 20 December, a meeting was held with the delegation of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the topic of the work being done and the results achieved in the field of open data in Uzbekistan.

On 22 December, the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research at the Statistics Agency hosted an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “BIG DATA, artificial intelligence and e-commerce in the development of the digital economy: problems, challenges, solutions.”

Also on 26 December, a meeting was held with employees of the Office for Monitoring and Coordination of the Open Data Portal and a representative of the office of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan.
