Uzbekistan holds 71st place in new FIFA ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.
Uzbekistan national team moved two place up in the ranking and now holds the 71st place in the world.
Uzbekistan is the seventh best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (44th place), South Korea (53), Saudi Arabia (55), Japan (58), UAE (65) and Australia (68) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.
Belgium topped the FIFA ranking. Argentina and Spain share the second and third places respectively.
