The UN Broadband Commission for Digital Development presented new report on 21 September 2015.

Uzbekistan was on 128th place in the world on fixed broadband penetration among 190 countries in 2013.

According to the report, the level of fixed broadband penetration makes up 1.3 per 100 inhabitants in 2014 against 1.1 per 100 inhabitants in 2013.

Uzbekistan was on 109th place on mobile broadband penetration in 2014. The level of mobile broadband penetration makes up 23.9 per 100 inhabitants in 2014, according to the report.

According to the report, the percentage of households with internet in Uzbekistan makes up 10.5% in 2014 (9.5% in 2013), which is the 89th place among 133 developing countries (81st place in 2013).

At the same time percentage of individuals using internet made up 43.6% in 2014 (38.2% in 2013). Uzbekistan is on 93th place among 191 countries of the world (100th place in 2013) and 48th place among 144 developing nations (53rd place in 2013).
