Uzbekistan Havo Yollari receives fifth Il-114-100 plane
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 July 2010, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) national airline received the fifth Il-114-100 aircraft of new modification, produced in Uzbekistan. The plane will be used for internal routes and external flights.

Il-114-100 has been equipped with Russian equipment of new generation, avionics of Rockwell Collins (USA), engines of Pratt&Whitney Canada, airscrew of Hamilton Sundstrand (Netherlands) and auxiliary power unit of Honeywell (USA).

The airline said that the fifth aircraft slightly differs from previous four. On request of pilots, the fifth airplane was equipped with internal control and malfunction search system. The module allows to check all aircraft systems in five minutes, while it takes up to 30 minutes in previous four. The producer also improved navigation system and others.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari has been using Il-114-100 aircrafts since 2003. The aircraft replaced old Yak-40 and An-24. The aircraft has 52 seats. The aircraft consumes less fuel.

In line with the contract, Tashkent Aircraft Production Plant named after Chkalov (TAPOiCh) will supply two Il-114-100 aircrafts to Uzbekistan Havo Yollari – one in the end of 2010 and the second in early 2011.
