Uzbekistan Havo Yollari launch winter navigation in late October
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways), a national airline of Uzbekistan, shifts to winter navigation on 31 October 2010, the company’s press service said.

The airline said that it adds new direct flight Tashkent-Riga-Tashkent. In November, the flight will be carried out on Thursdays in November and on Fridays in December.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will also open flight between Andijan and Moscow, which will be carried out on Saturdays. The winter navigation includes new route between Navoi and Saint Petersburg, which will be conducted on Tuesdays.

The airline said that it will conduct flight Tashkent-Paris-Tashkent twice a week (on Tuesdays and Fridays) as in summer navigation.

From January 2010, the flight between Tashkent and Mineral Waters will be conducted through Urgench and flight between Andijan and Novosibirsk via Namangan. The flight between Andijan and Krasnoyarsk will be directed and carried out with A320 aircrafts.

The growth of passengers’ number pushed the airline to increase number of flights Tashkent-Nukus-Tashkent to three times a day from January 2011.

The airline said that all flights will be connected with flights to the CIS and European States with flights to Southern-Eastern Asia, Middle East and vice-versa.

The winter navigation will be in force till 26 March 2011, the Uzbek airline said.
