Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Uzbekistan GTL plant took part in the CSSOPE 2023 summit held in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China.

The summit, organized to develop relations within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, was attended by representatives of companies that produce equipment for the oil, gas and chemical industries.

At the summit, the Uzbekistan GTL plant was recognized as the largest investment project in the region. The successful experience of implementing a mega-project was separately presented to the participants and the Uzbekistan GTL plant was awarded the “Purchaser Superstar” award. This was reported by the PR service of Uzbekistan GTL LLC.

During the summit, representatives of the plant delegation held meetings and negotiations with major companies such as SABIC, Hebei Hongrun Nuclear Equipment Science And Technology Co., Ltd., Enppi Petroleum Company, NMDC Group/NPCC, CNOOC Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., Huntsman and Harbin East Alarm Equipment Development Co., Ltd. and discussed the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.

According to the agenda of the summit, participants visited the largest factories of leading manufacturers of equipment and components for the oil, gas and chemical industries “Baowu Special Metallurgy Co., Ltd.” and Dragon Industries.
