Uzbekistan GTL enters the list of nominees for the prestigious American award "Hydrocarbon Processing"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzbekistan GTL plant entered the top three candidates in the Best Gas Processing Technology nomination of Hydrocarbon Processing, the leading American publication in the field of oil and gas processing.

Uzbekistan GTL plant in Uzbekistan was among the top three candidates for the industry award for outstanding achievements from the leading technical publication "Hydrocarbon Processing", headquartered in Houston , USA.

The plant was nominated in the Best Gas Processing Technology category and nominated for a vote by the prestigious HP Awards Advisory Board.

Mehriddin Abdullayev, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz, said: “The nomination of the Uzbekistan GTL plant for this award is a great honor for Uzbekneftegaz. This shows that our efforts to ensure the sustainability of our business and organizational work are internationally recognized. This is very inspiring. I would like to thank my colleagues, partners and all the people whose hard work has allowed us to achieve this recognition.”

Receiving this award would be of great significance to the great team of professionals who have worked tirelessly and selflessly on this project.”

This year’s award winners will be announced at an event on 12 October 2022 in Houston.

Uzbekistan GTL is a structural enterprise of Uzbekneftegaz. The Uzbekistan GTL plant has become one of the largest and most advanced plants of this type in the world. The project is aimed at a significant expansion of Uzbekistan’s capacity for deep processing of natural gas and a sharp reduction in the import of hydrocarbon raw materials.
