During the visit, Uzbektourism national company management and the Greek delegation discussed issues of strengthening of cooperation in tourism. The sides agreed to organize internship for the Uzbek tourism students in Greece in 2010-2011.

The delegation will visit several historic cities of Uzbekistan to familiarize with tourism potential and sights of the Central Asian state.

Uzbekistan approved a plan of events on further development of cooperation with the Greece, which also includes cooperation in tourism and education. The Uzbek side is working on attraction of the Greek companies in creation of tourism infrastructure and creation of tourism faculty in one of the Uzbek universities.

It is also expected that representatives of Greek tour operators and media outlets will visit Uzbekistan.
