Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 16 July, a meeting took place between the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Sodyk Safayev, and the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Annette Kramm.
The meeting, held at the Senate, covered a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, including the further strengthening of political, trade-economic, social, cultural-humanitarian cooperation, and the development of inter-parliamentary relations.
Representatives from Germany highly appreciated the reforms being implemented under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, both domestically and in Uzbekistan’s foreign policy.
During the dialogue, the importance of the Intergovernmental Agreement on Migration and Mobility between the two countries was discussed. Attention was also focused on establishing a chain of stable cargo supply. Views were exchanged regarding cooperation in the field of labor and employment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached on further development of mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and Germany.
