Wolfgang Neuen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Uzbekistan, and Shavkat Tulyaganov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan, signed the agreement.
The document envisages further development of financial and technical cooperation between governments of Uzbekistan and Germany.
Germany and Uzbekistan started cooperation for development in 1993. So far, the volume of resources, issued to Uzbekistan, made up 298.94 million euros, of which 240.54 million were issued within the financial cooperation and 58.4% - within technical cooperation.
The funds were directed for developing such sectors as healthcare, agriculture, assistance to small and private business.
