Rustam Talibjanov noted that Uzbekistan team held training camps in Minsk and Doha on 2-10 December and played matches against Belarus and Qatar.

He added that currently the team is resting. He said that the team will start training to the tournament from 4 January 2016. Within the preparations, it is planned to hold several training camps and play 2-3 friendly matches within each training camp.

Talibjanov said that Uzbekistan will play friendly matches against Kazakhstan on 22-23 January in Almaty.

Afterwards, the team will hold camps in Tashkent. Uzbekistan plans to play Vietnam on 1 February 2016, he said.

He added that Jordan plans to arrive in Tashkent on 4 February to participate in the AFC Futsal Championship and the sides are holding talks to hold a match on 5 or 6 February.

Rustam Talibjanov underlined that the Uzbekistan Futsal Federation is planning to organize one more match before 20 January. The team can play either Azerbaijan or Belarus in Tashkent.

The AFC Futsal Championship will be held in Tashkent on 10-21 February 2016. Uzbekistan is in Group A with Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. Top five teams of the tournament will win tickets to the World Championship, which will take place in Columbia in 2016.
